This structural interactive kinetic sculpture was created for a public installation at the 25th Anniversary Artomatic in Washington, DC. Curtains and walls of DVDs engaged visitors approaching to spin this 8-foot-tall 800-pound circuit board-clad 4’x4’x4’ cube. Over 7 weeks in 2024, 70,000 people visited Artomatic’s 8 floors of art in downtown DC. Critics, visitors, and fellow artists considered 1001 a showcase piece among creations by 1,000 artists.
